Raise wa Tanin ga Ii - Vol. 2 Ch. 9.9 - Pixiv Extra

@Darklight99 For me at least, since the manga seemed to describe its protagonist as spunky and kinda independent, I'm kinda disappointed that she isn't. The rest of it - meh. I mean selling her kidney or whatever internal vital she sold was definitely weird and kinda overkill...but I just ignored it. Her character being low-key dull and unimaginative - now that really grinds my gears. This yakuza nonsense just seems like a setting and not an actual important plot-point and our weird male lead seems to be what's most important. Too bad he's just too weird for me.

I think people are ignoring the other atrocities here because the manga just doesn't focus on them. It's as if the manga just expects the reader to just brush over it like it's nothing. And honestly, we do. I mean if the manga doesn't care, why should we?

@RubyG8396 I don't really want to argue with you about the protagonist, that wasn't my point. But in this chapter alone we saw him beating up a tied man with a golf club in the first page, beating up a woman and tying her up, torturing a man, blackmailing him and then drug smuggling and selling.

So, no, under no circumstances can I say that sexism is even in the top 100 worst thing about them.

@Darklight99 This manga got me to undermine someone selling off one of their vital organs on a bet. From that moment I knew not to take any of the morbid stuff seriously because these characters are surprisingly immortal. That's just me though.

@RubyG8396 Immortal? People can live with a single kidney, it's one of the most common transplants. And again, it's not that I was bothered by anything in this chapter, I just find it stupid that people in this comment section are making sexism out to be unforgivable compared to what the cast other than the MC do on a regular basis.

@Darklight99 This argument is going on for way too long. I'm agreeing with you. Firstly people can survive with one kidney - I know. It's everything else they survive. It's kind of disturbing and at first I took it kind of seriously, but...I just can't care about nothing no more. I'm properly desensitised. The desensitisation came from the first moment they brushed over selling a kidney. Personally I think it's kind of morbid. Honestly I think that it was kind of extreme. The prostitution thing to begin with was also kind of extreme as well. So from the second chapter I knew that these dudes went to the absolute extreme when it came to anything. And that was just the second chapter. The rest just flew over my head. I don't have it in me to question it anymore. I just know they're immortal and everything's gonna be okay.

the mentioning of Philippines always catches me off guard 😅😂 idk why exactly but I think it's because this is a yakuza manga (mafia or gang related manga) it just very lowkey makes me laugh a little idkw lol

I definitely need to thank the translator for their in depth notes and thoughtful consideration when choosing words/terms to type in the manga!!!!!!!! Thank you!!!!! Without it this manga would be way way confusing and with them it becomes a more enjoyable read.

@Darklight99
I agree with you. Of course I don't support their actions. They're trash. But hey, they're yakuza. At this point, I'm just curious at how the male and female lead's characters and relationship will be developed

awwwee i ship her and shouma, its juts kirishima is a psychopath. not cute at all

um even shouma is sexist... i know theyre yakuzas but n e ways :/ i once wondered what will happened if yoshinos father is alive.... bet hes at least more decent that all these guys

Aw I love this extra chapter. It just gives you a chance to get to know the characters more 💕

Yoshino really needs to do the same as her dad (allegedly) did and get herself out of there. She's just sane enough to make it as a normal civilian, but I don't think she'll be able to live freely as long as Kirishima's alive/still obsessed with her.
