After understanding just how thoroughly Kirishima stalks Yoshino, I realise the reason why he decided to go pick Yoshino app is because her cloned phone would have shown she was in a hotel. She sure didn't give him a call to come over. Given Kirishima's sexual lifestyle, he may have thought there was something going on between the two . He's quite possessive for an apathetic character.

shouma is a good kid though he might not be interested in Yoshino but instead looks after her like real family, regardless that already makes him so much better than current male lead (his weirdness had its shock value at the start but it's worn off me now meh)

I hate having second lead syndrome, and Kirisihima is even a pretty good lead by my standards. That being said it seems like the scales are tipping between yandere and masochist for him.

@Krobelus On one hand, I hate yanderes. They are the generic shoujo male lead but all the annoying unrealistic obsessive aspects reved up to 100. I mean American rom coms male leads that unrealistically give up everything for the girl is bad enough, but then you have Japanese shoujo male leads which are just Christian Grey on steroids. So I prefer his masochistic side because I find it slightly more comedic. Therefore I mostly approve of Kirishima's characterisation.

On the other hand, then you have Kirishima just being overall unbalanced as a character overall...and its kinda infuriating.

I'm just telling myself that his weird unpredictable behaviour is just him being "in character".
