@Pocky8 yep this city only has magical jobs available, so the begginers can only find mages to team up, any other jobs are really rare there in low level like them so they use healers as tanks, it's really a strange thing for a game but in the novel they explain it like that

@Shakur Even then, wouldn't it be better to have someone with offensive magic be the tank?
Or is it that the tank can't be too active just needs to keep the enemy's attention to themselves, so the others can attack? But if you lose the healer, all is gone.

@Pocky8 i dont know the mechanic of this game's manhwa, but some game allow you to pick certain talent/build to make healer as a viable tank. Take WoW for an example. Druid class is an excellent healer but they also can be made to become an offtank. But i rarely find an offensive mage built as a tank.

So yeah, healer is the best mage based tank here. He/she only need to focus on his/her HP. And i think thats why the healer in this manhwa is the shotcaller since, like you said, if the healer die the party will collapse.

I think lightning chain would have made more sense. Just the way adjectives work I guess.
Chain lightning sounds more like lightning strikes that come one after another instead of a chain made of lightning.
