Real no Heroine wa Irimasen! - Vol. 5 Ch. 34

i have no idea whats going on anymore. Who are all these side characters? 🤨

Is this the cliche development where she now becomes the "bad guy" so she can take all the fire instead and be the new center of attention...?

@givemersspls
What I remember was

MC only like 2d girls because he got pranked on when he was younger by the bitchy Gyaru girl
FMC had bad rumors spread about her because of a nickname, how she dressed and just generally being antisocial
MC saved FMC from an attempted Rape
FMC plays eroge games and wants to become MC's ideal girl so he'll give her a chance
Friend of FMC is... a something, whatever she really like FMC, that's really all that's relevant
Friend of MC is basically just... there, who cares.
MC saves FMC from attempted rape again.
Bitchy Gyaru Girl shows up afterwards, seemingly is jealous of FMC
There was a festival and some stuff happened

That's pretty much it. Only other kinda relevant info is MC basically already is in love with FMC but because the Manga has to drag on longer he still hasn't realized it.

@Acolytus
Dont hate her too much, shes just a dumb air head that
got manipulated into fucking over her first crush

@givemersspls
@Mervina
the friend of cotton felt guilty because she ended up screwing her over and almost got her raped by their shared male childhood friend.
the second time it was Cotton that saved the MC from being raped in the ass by a gay guy.
The bitchy Gyaru is the one that traumatized the MC.
were in the endgame of the arc now, next arc is where the LN TLs stopped.

DOUBLE NEGATIVE! GUILTY!!!!

The bitchy Gyaru is the one, who started (or was used to start) the trend of traumatizing the MC, as similar setups happened to the MC with different girls afterwards, until he gave up on 3D and embraced 2D. We don't know if there was an evil mastermind behind it or if they just acted, because it happened before and would be funny to fuck him over again. The rest is just like boag, givemersspls and Mervina described it.

I just noticed how bad this manga really is lol.

I like the art so I am sticking... but man, I won't even bother with the LNs with this story

Can someone explain what just happened? It really didn't seem like the Gal meant to shove Ayame down to the ground. It felt more like Ayame hurt her feet and fell on her own while the gal touched her shoulder. Regardless of what happened in the past, it'll be pretty stupid if they came to hate her for an accident.

@BloodySorcerer - Not quite awake yet? That chick most definitely tripped and then shoved Ayame.

What is more interesting though is cousin sensei's reaction. Could she be a bit jealous?

@AsuraRaza You probably didn't understand where i'm coming from so I'll explain better, the gal didn't look like she meant to do all that, she did shove her lightly but seemed to only expect her to drop what she was carrying at most, but she overdid it and Ayame fell along with it, you can see it by looking at her face, she was just as surpised as everyone around her. What meant to be a light joke to her became something serious, and she seemed to feel guilty right after.

Here at top left, look at her "what the hell I just did?" face. This shows that she didn't intend on doing what actually happened, there's the fact that she had just tripped Ayame a few panels before, so it may have been that Ayame hurt her foot and lost balance, resulting in her fall later on.

@AsuraRaza to which I can I understand, however I cannot see her as someone inherently malicious. I've reason to believe that just actually attacking Ayame due to jealousy, I know characters who would actually really pretend and have bad intentions. But here it seem more like she is pissed that Ayame has gotten close to the mc, and it's only against her due to this, and not because she really is a bitch who likes to do Bitchy things. Which is what makes me almost sure that she didn't really intend to hurt ayame, just to antagonize her a bit and move on. But I aknowledge that she does fit with the usually manipulating bitch who would usually bully either the MC or the Heroine, they usually look just like her, I suspect the author is trying to do the exact inverse here, with the heroine trying new things to change her image, and she getting involved only because she has some sort of feelings for the MC, sooner or later I can see the MC having to help her due to her harming her own image instead.

@BloodySorcerer - that is an interesting idea that she might have feelings for the MC. It kind of clashes with his otaku personality - I mean, when did he ever do anything that might impress a girl like her - but maybe you're right. We'll see.
