My goodness! I know this manga is about their struggle to dispel rumors but each new rumor is more farfetched than the last ones. And everyone falls for it each time! They must be the most gullible people in any work of fiction I've seen.

To be fair, the credibility of a rumor is greatly dependent on who first spreads it and when the rumor has spread enough it can obtain the properties of a meme and start self-propagating.
Also the salaciousness of a yuri couple + 1 voyeur only makes the rumor more interesting. Mostly a question of folks wanting it to be true, rather than it actually being believable or not.

Usually it doesn’t happen, but with this manga I hope author starts to wrap it up soon. It’s pretty clear that he doesn’t know how to go onward anymore and it’s only dragging the story with a different and more lame rumor every time.
