It's been pretty established multiple times that she is in fact an idiot. Not to the lvl of the childhood friend, but still an idiot.

That said, that was real pointlessly clumsy of his cousin. Whether or not she did that on purpose (I doubt she's the mastermind, just can't see the motivation behind it), this is needless drama. Just find the person who really made the rumors, become a couple and let it end. This is adding drama for the sake of drama.

I pop into a chapter at random after a while again and its always either one of 1) drama is being created out of thin fucking air 2)a misunderstanding which leads to drama is created from the most ridiculous place or 3)a cartoon villain is created to create drama without bothering to properly introduce or characterise them so its just a batman mook style thing

This series never fails to disappoint. I can appreciate that.

The one he and MH was talking to this chapter is his older cousin (uses the same honorific so can be confusing). Long hair in ponytail.
The one who teases the girlish boy is his little sister. Shoulder length hair, two hair clips on left side. Only shows up on page 19 and 20 this chapter.

Hmm....could be. To me though, it seemed like actually was talking about the little sister. I don't fully remember all their conversations but I don't think she's ever referred to herself as "onee-san". Then again, I have seen some characters who do so playfully.
