So this manga's portraying what ego is doing to their lives. One is a classic prince on his high horse Takahashi who can't accept that he's now down to his wheelchair, two is Togawa who is forcing the team to a higher level, then third is Nagano who just has the skills to back up his ego.

Takahashi is a roller coaster of drama. He's already getting a bit more tolerable but his character development just went back to shit lmao. Poor mom.

I remember reading this in my youth and that image of his mum cleaning the latrine stuck with me. how in under 30 pages shows an almost universal structure of motivational love and then the absence of it. we should all be kinder to our mothers and even if we are already kind, kinder still. this manga soo good.
