I don't really understand why so much love about Jeanne d'Arc, + she wasn't that skilled in swordmanship/fights in general, contrary to Hijikata for example. As French historical figures, there are other (female) choices for this kind of action-oriented mangas, like Julie D'Aubigny, known in France for her noble statut, angelic voice singing and deadly swordmanship.
