@Miranox no it should be obvious, the writing in this manga all has a purpose, by easily wiping out rival gangs that engage Akira and Sheryl they establish a hiearchy of gangs with Sheryls at the top. This also boosts the gangs morale as their standing increases their motivation to get stronger will also increase. You think too linear when you dont understand world building or character development
