Received a friend request from someone who is already banned

I received a friend request from someone, but when I clicked on their account, their status was listed as "banned." Why does their request still show up with the option to accept or decline?

@Grinning_Idiot banning users doesnt clear pending friend requests at the moment. I'll add it to the todo-list. Until then just deny them.
