Recommended pixel size for banner and profile avatar

If this is a duplicate post then I apologize. Anyway, the only info I could find was that for your profile avatar the file size can't be more than 1 MB. But, what I'm interested in knowing is what are the best dimensions for the banner and avatar? Because for me my stuff looks a little blurry and I want to adjust accordingly. The avatar isn't that bad until you click on my profile tho.

@Akemua As long as your banner is width of 1400, it won't resize much when displayed

For avatar, just make it as big as you can under 1 mb :x
