Is he in the same empire as the other guy that was fat but transformed(I don't remember his name)? If so, no wonder he thinks the empire is hopeless... I sure hope the prince doesn't represent the majority of the empire... it would be so boring if the entire empire was made up of idiots...

Hmm Pareia tribe is so patient and careful. The Empire is way way bigger than you guys think (will be revealed later in the story) and this is just one clown ass prince who is pressuring them into oblivion. They can't go against the Empire, only the Desert as a whole can.
