I'm pretty sure this school arc is just to create conflict, but it would be nice if our MC learned more (I'm assuming) European diplomacy/culture/beliefs/etc.

Ngl I really hate the idea of him living his high school life in the empire out of nowhere. Isn't his purpose to unify the desert by building his strengths, the men under his command and all? And now he will go waste months or even years in a school in the country he despise? I know they will say things like "You will know your enemies better" or "You will meet important person" or whatever but it piss me off already. If he really go it will be a frustrating and hard to read arc for me...
