...Guys. Really? No this isn't pedophilia. Out of ALL the japanese manga with ACTUAL pedophilia, this is one of the rare ones that do not. Thinking a kid is cute in general (because smol and innocent), and being happy because they are happy is not equivalent to sexual attraction. Seeing a smiling kid on the train brightened his mood, like when you see a cute dog or cat after a long day. If he actually WAS attracted to kids in an inappropriate way, we would have seen it earlier, like when he was with the orphans? But we didn't. Sheesh, I sincerely hope ya'll are joking.

It's pretty apparent his motives are pure, and very idealistic, perhaps even bordering on naive. We will see if his intentions change over time, but until then we haven't seen anything to warrant such a response.
