Reincarnated as an Aristocrat With an Appraisal Skill - Vol. 2 Ch. 14 - A Place for Talent

How the fuck do they not have traps?!
Hunter-gatherer societies are like a couple thousand of years behind them!

Yes in a society of super-humans who could punch bears to death and magic users, it's completely expected to think they'd follow the same pattern of technological development as humans of our time. /s

@TitanAnteus: What's really bothersome is that they have no idea of what a "trap" is. Are you trying to make me believe that they fight every single animal head on, even dragons, griffons, and what-have-you?
The traps don't need to look like ours, but it's straight up preposterous that hunters never thought of ambushing animals or of using traps to prevent animals raiding houses.

He could have:
Eidetic memory (not proven)
Hyperthymesia (proven but extremely rare)
A form of savantism

Or he could be a polymath; might be a bit too soon to tell

Traps are a foreign technique...
I bet In the far east there are also humans who have discovered that you can roast meat before eating it raw, what will you do with this revolutionary method?

At this point, I am just reading this for the credits pages. Thanks for the chapter.

So, the older brothers are being cooperative and trying to help Rosel.
In the Novel (not sure if it was WN or LN), they didn't even have much trust in him (same with their Father) and didn't want to help him either.

Guess the Manga toned that part down, and made the story more Family Friendly.

@OraOraApril19: Using Traps needs "understand" and "some knowledge on the know how of things".
For this family of hunters, the Father and both the Older Brothers relied solely on their physical strength to hunt the prey.
They never really thought of any other way, as for the three of them, physical strength in the only thing anyone needs to hunt.
There philosophy is, "If one has strength and weapon, and can hunt, is there any need for other ways to hunt" (even if it is harder to do it).

@ultraleaf
Well, what do you expect from one that didn't have a good experience and education? The basic knowledge for hunter is only kill the prey, not learn how to make traps back then
