Kinda wish you would have ended two chapters ago rather then this. I dont get why they left on this expedition with no fucking way of defending themselves properly. They proved earlier that none of them are even decent at shooting except Anna. Where the hell are the combat types. So many plot holes just for the sake of story.

They indeed didn't prepare enough even though they should have gotten more information already. Surviving witches of the Cara group should've known they are throwing spears (ranged weapons). Then during the previous months of the demons Border Town even defended against a flying hybrid monster. That should also give them a hunch about the flying ability of the demons.
