Release That Witch - Ch. 74 - Immeasurable Prince

I'm playing age of empire and my favorite army is a Cannon protected with infantry. It's really funny when seeing enemy cavalry or their infantry got Smashed with cannon. I hope the next war will like that

... This was already brought up, but... Isn't MC STILL a prince?
Do they know that angering royal families typically isn't a smart idea?
Especially the members that are still in line for the throne.

I can see way too many ways for how this could go wrong for the honey-suckling family and the duke.

The son has a good sense. If any of them attack our Prince MC, then they will be gunned down from afar.

this is why things like recent information is something crucial on this day and age. yesterday's kitten may transform and grown into a dangerous lion. they were thinking that is the same prince from several months ago so they didn't even bother tried to clarify some now info about that town. oh it may also because no spies can leak any information in that town.

@Reimos Well, the king is dead, the second prince already killed his brother and took the throne, everybody know that the royal princes and princesses are at each other throats gunning for the throne, nevermind the fact that everybody know that Roland is (or "was") the hopeless child of the bunch, chances are the siblings will be grateful to them for taking him out instead of being enraged

Nobles getting too full of themselves. Their nobility is GRANTED to them by the Crown, so attacking the Royal Family just because a Prince doesn't want to give up a relatively unproductive, tiny town of backwards, ailing, dying people should seem like absolute retard-strength madness to them.

They are literally sending an army to 'teach him a lesson'. Whoever gets the throne, even if it happens to not be him in their perception, would have their titles and lands stripped, heads of family hanged, and the their offspring sent to work the mines. If some mere nobles manage to kill a prince and the Royal Family does nothing it means they're ceding to the nobles and thus all the nobles should make a bid to take the Crown for themselves leading to chaos and civil war, squabbling over a throne that still has a butt in it.

Point is, whoever wins the throne isn't going to allow nobles to get away with attacking royalty. Otherwise they lose all credibility and the position of the royal family becomes equivalent to crap.

Imagine a fat guy talking about charging into the battlefield while looking down on his son, who is at least 10 times as smart as him.
Can't imagine any other outcome that isn't his death.

Trigger warning: Vore.

(in a more serious note, congratulations. the quality of the translation seems better than the previous chapters. although what do I know, english is not my first language)

Underestimating your opponent and being overly confident......?
I'm not sure they are ready to take that challenge
