@ViEmlleSzDias I had a hunch it had ended like that because unfortunately in the adult world, one can't simply transfer to another school and start over. An adult's options are always much more limited, and it's much harder to get emotional support. Also I think it's somewhat common in Japan that companies won't fire their employees, but rather push them into quitting. Since his senpai was so stubborn and wouldn't give up, it was inevitable all the gaslighting would break her eventually. Suicide is a far too common outcome in these situations, I'm afraid. Sadly, Japanese culture still makes that seem like a better option than "dishonouring" oneself, under some circumstances.
It always..always breaks my heart to see a human being who's held out for so long... to resort to commit suicide.. They've been strong for so long until they reached that limit..and to think that it's common in Japan because of these standards and image they've set upon the working class.. it's really just downright heartbreaking T_T
