ReLIFE - Vol. 6 Ch. 89 - Sense of Loss

If that company had external shareholders, then even the sexual harrassment stuff aside, those employees should be liable for disciplinary action due to deliberately costing the company significant revenue just to service their own personal agendas, while the supervisor/director would be looking at being warned or even removed for enabling & even possibly condoning these sort of things to transpire, thus negliecting his fiduciary duty to the shareholders.

@DeliciousCake the Japanese market is mostly controlled by families and tradition. There are a lot of powerful private companies, with limited accountability. Public interference is very rare - even for the publicly traded ones - and the main shareholders would rather keep everything under wraps and let wrongdoings go unpunished than risk media attention. Appearances define power, and hierarchy is supreme, after all. No one will believe a lowly salaryman over some executive. Even if they are losing good talent, that's how they maintain the status quo and that benefits them more than anything.

so fucking disgusting, from how the coworkers who bullied her were talking about promotions after they literally caused her suicide to the higher-up blatantly saying that their company was a place that she loved. it would have been so satisfying for kaizaki to beat him up but he probs would’ve landed into an even worse situation

It's just so disgusting to know how many of these trash companies that consist of even f*king sh*tty people exist in this world and torment their workers and drive them to insanity. And to add that they punish those who try to leave to the lowest, honestly it really makes you wish they had karma since this is blasphemy to say the least. Even if it's so unlikely, I wish someone would rat them out so they can all get arrested.
Luckily Kaizaki is in a better place ;U;

Honestly this chapter makes me the most confused. If Kaizaki said "I quit because I was emotionally scarred after walking in on a coworker who had committed suicide" that would be completely understandable. I get he was originally stressed by the company life, but his social skills are better than mine, surely he could have thought of something that simple. this reeks to me of cover up by the author.
