smh at ml for assuming women wanna use him to buy stuff for them especially since fmc alone disproved that belief in chapter 4. kinda ironic(for a lack of a better word) how in the next several chapters(in the raws) he continues to buy shit for her even though she'd be fine with it if he didn't.

He's so damn annoying. I hate how he's an asshole but she'll still fall in love with him anyways because sometimes hes nice and considerate... ugh

@cherokeemoon, to be fair-peier has some psychological issues(which is why she gets pushed around so easily, which stem from being abused by her father. heck in one of the yet to be translated chapters, there were times when she tried pulling away her dad from her mom when he was attacking her mom and she would end up getting more hurt than she would if she sat and did nothing) that she hasn't gone to a psychologist to get help for it(my guess is that psychologists don't exist trope in some media). it's also made pretty clear ml has some issues too(in the raws), probably due to his parents getting divorced and his dad being a greedy two faced man

i should add it takes a while for 'her to fall for him'. but yeah i don't care for jiachen either. he still hasn't properly redeem himself(in my eyes at least, sure he made some improvements in later chapters but it ain't enough for me to forgive/overlook previous mistakes) as of latest chapter(then again i'm extra harsh on him especially cuz of chapters 17/18. at least peier slapped him in ch.19)
