i feel unsatisfied with how sobie will end this with a crying face and a "laugh at your exhusband who regrets everything". More retribution might be coming since he'll probably doubt the kid rashta is carrying is his once the rott son with baby appears. Also Rashta is such an embarrassment in high society, if I was the duke or baron that gets assigned to her, I would quit. Gosh I feel bad for pure boy heinley that just wants to be loved... someone give the empress some romance novels pls.

Recent chapters have sobie sponsoring the girl who lost her magic, Rasta thinking it's gonna be a new concubine (wtf woman it's a kid!) and if he still hasn't repent, I think he's gonna use the kid as a hostage to get nabi back... which will probably end in war

Well, you'd think some lady would be opportunistic enough to try and gain favour with the empress and/or the emperor by taking the job.
And if there are none in the capital, surely there will be some outside.
But the emperor should be more patient. And making stupid accusations towards the empress - quite possibly because a certain someone whined about it - is not going to motivate her to work harder.

Poop. When will this idiot get a clue? Despite his behavior, his wife has actually been (relatively) on his side. She even went so far as to not sabotage the job offerings by revealing the concubine's name. I wasn't expecting that—instead, she put "duty" before herself and genuinely attempted to help. As a result of her efforts, though, she's been branded wrongly. Likewise, does this chowder head believe that once he boots out the Empress and replaces her that her replacement will be accepted? Dude! Nobles will talk smack about her & leave, conspire, attempt to murder, etc.

I feel bad for the people who will suffer fallout—like innocent, unborn children, et. al.—it seems like people who are all screwed up in the head—like this Emperor—never really hold concern for those who suffer the fallout. I presume that he currently lacks the capacity to empathize with those Innocents, but no matter—her is hoping that someone raises the kid without prejudice so they don't get abused. Heh. Too much child cruelty for my tastes. Heh.
