Unlike the other comments, I think this was perfect as a one-shot. How wonderful to see that this mangaka can execute drama and near-tragedy as well as comedy (in Spy x Family).

I think this was perfect as a oneshot. It doesn't need a serialisation though if it wanted to, it'd have to go under a lot of change. Doesn't really matter as much since author is working on spyxfamily which I love

This....is good. I just clicked on a random Oneshot and I got interesting worldbuilding, themes and quality fantasy art, which I want to see more of. Even the characters are well executed (Ashe lying about this being a vision of the future to scare everyone into letting her go free for example is more characterization and agency than I expected, which maybe says more about other manga than about this one, but still). Though I have no idea how such a story could develop further, I really hope this gets serialized, if the author wants to of course.

EDIT: I'm just now realizing that this is from the Spy x Family author *facepalm*. Well, this explains the art and characters. Though it would be a shame to not see more from this world, the author will be busy writing Spy x Family for a while, so...I can only hope this gets used after S x F is over. Though seeing as this oneshot is older than S x F, i can only imagine the author has a reason for not serializing it.
