I simply love the mixture of mid-western weaponry and technology, Japanese fashion and mythology that this series has. It is so well done and creative, the author has some amazing skill.

Monko is so manly and cute... this choice of words is even more strange written than it was in my head, but i don't have better words to describe her.

@XL I think that this is an alternate version of Japan, where the western technology has arrived in and because who knows why is some western desert, going with that logic the United States exists and with it the FBI, I am no story buff ( principally because i am not from the US ) but if I remember correctly the FBI didn't exist in that age, correct me here if i am wrong, so I think the author simply take some poetic liberty.
