The MC is a craftsman who makes dolls - high quality hand made dolls and is really good at it, first prize in competitions and all that. Then he gets injured and his hand is no loger capable of doing detailed work- he is done! He can't do what he loves anymore.
So his sisters gets him a VR head set and there is a game that is all about making Automatas (dolls that move on their own) so now, not rstricted by his body he is able to make dolls again, but only virtually.
Also in the VR game, the dolls fight
