Edit: I went back to the beginning to try and see how old he is overall. Looks like he was in his 20's, just like this 'genius' making himself an annoyance.
On the other hand. In chapter 2, Abel said that in his current body and age, he can only use three tenths of his full power. So he's still currently 'weakened'.

Chapter 4 says he was in his late 30's before he youthened.
