Rettou Gan no Tensei Majutsushi ~ Shiitagerareta Moto Yuusha wa Mirai no Sekai o Yoyuu de Ikinuku ~ - Vol. 4 Ch. 25.1

@WhimsiCat exactly what I was thinking. Besides, this guy want to meet someone equal in term of intellect, but he sent fighters to a boy who got his attention and test his physical strength(?). I don't know, that sounds stupid to me.

I should have known it when i saw the .1 at the end of the chapter number.... Damn it cliff!

@BalrogDeMorgoth
And everyone other who complained, phrase 大炮打蚊子。unstand? It means don't invest so much for little/tiny problem.

Like you don't hire the best assassin in the world hitman agent 47 to kill a dog on the street.

im very genius, me want find this genius student to reach greater smarts, so me hire assassins to killz him

wait wat

I want to find someone as smart as I am. I've found him! Now I'll send assassins after him. You know, because I'm curious what he'd do.

He didn't hire assassins to KILL Abel, he hired them to act like they were, from the sound of it. He wanted to see the full extent of Abel's ability. The problem is he vastly underestimates Abel, which is normal, no one can imagine someone being this strong and knowledgeable in this day and age. Emerson's also been alone so long that he can only think of his own designs and desires due to everyone abandoning him out of jealousy, so he sees someone like Abel and what little social skill he had goes out the window - starts viewing Abel as an important experiment, running tests and observations.

I feel kinda bad for him, honestly. He could have been a great guy if his first attempts at being friendly hadn't backfired so hard and people been so vindictive and jealous. Common case of a victim lashing back out.

please japan, choose one or the other, cliff or part of chapter, not both. this is too scummy even for my standard
