Rettou Gan no Tensei Majutsushi ~ Shiitagerareta Moto Yuusha wa Mirai no Sekai o Yoyuu de Ikinuku ~ - Vol. 4 Ch. 28

@serelanordir It was allegedly burned down by Julius Caesar, but he probably only had a part in it and wasn't directly responsible. Some historians believe it was only partially damaged and not actually burned down. Another possibility is that it was rioting Christians that burned it. The Muslim thing was written 300 years after the fact is widely accepted as either bullshit or heavily exaggerated, especially since the time frame makes no sense. Also, how can you say "I forgot" when you can literally spend 5 minutes to read about it? This isn't some obscure knowledge. You have access to almost all the information in existence and willfully choose to be an idiot.

This is actually a good explanation to why magic declines. Much better than simpli it declines because people got complacent

Funny how she got popular for her power and became called “Ice Queen” despite having shown more emotions in this chapter alone compared to our deadpan MC.

Goes to show how girls are always more popular than guys.

@Serelanordir
Pretty sure that muslim part was written by a Roman Catholic to wash their hand and for Rome's false history.
Islam was born at 7th century, while Alexandria Library was already heavily damaged before 400 AD. The timeline is totally doesn't make sense.

Yes, there was a time when Alexandria was taken by Muslim Army under The Caliphate, but the condition of Alexandria Library was not as big as first century.

After this plague is over, you should go back to school and study more about world history, kid. You are too naive and too young to trust everything that Facebook University teach you.

Red head girl can't be seriously regarded as LI. So far the only one is the demon maid.

Ok, the magic decline actually seems reasonable now. Before this chapter, it seemed like magic declined for no other reason than "everything was peaceful, why fight?" which is nonsense. Times of peace are when one prepares for the next war.
This chapter seems to indicate most of the capable mages died in the hundred years war, and then records were intentionally burned by a dedicated group——basically a form of "brain drain", and something I can totally see happening.

Unfortunately, the story never hinted this might have been the case before the last couple chapters. It kinda feels like the author read complaints about his bad worldbuilding, and threw something in at random.

Deadpan x Deadpan is like one of my most favorite character archetype pairing... if it's isn't harem, that is. :/
Why? Because I already know it's just not gonna happen.

@Serapheid
she only showed this level of emotion because the MC didn't do what everyone else did towards her, it's highly unlikely that she showed this much emotion at any point in time since most people wouldn't even get past the cube test she had.

@Ronye

I believe you’re missing my point. I’m referring to the fact that the MC has done incredible feats like she has, they’re both the same year, and they’re both deadpan, but only she got a title and recognition.

@Serapheid
I see what you mean now, yeah that is pretty strange now thinking about it
especially since he has the eyes of someone who shouldn't be able to do anything according to them.

I maaaay have spoken too soon.
This new girl briefly got the triangle mouth.
She doesn't quite have Renge-face yet, but she has at least taken the first step towards it. Now she just needs to get weirder. =3

"the world is in peace now, we no longer need your amber eyes power...." and then human began fighting w/ each other because of greed...
lmao, poor 4 great sages with their poor insight...
but then again, it has to be another demon ploting shiet behind the scene...has to be..
