Rettou Gan no Tensei Majutsushi ~ Shiitagerareta Moto Yuusha wa Mirai no Sekai o Yoyuu de Ikinuku ~ - Vol. 5 Ch. 37

"they have a device to record me using magic, so lets use super blatant magic instead" - this mc
"abel has his own umbrella in a spell, but he stopped me from picking a fight with ppl, so lets give him my umbrella anyway so he has extra burden to carry and so that I get wet" - this love interest

@PhoenixStriker5251 The latter was not at all how it was explained nor drawn, so I doubt that. And the force (for the former) wasn't even lethal nor directly applied, so if it is that fragile then the ones confronting him and inviting violence would not have been the ones wielding it. And you didn't mention it, but if it were weak to water like electronics, then they wouldn't have used it in super-rain.

Yep he did his math wrong ahah, should have been :
200
180
162
146
131
118
So 59% is the actual graduation rate.

I can go along that he isn't interested in the young girls, but it seems odd that he doesn't seem to understand they they might be interested in him.
The trope feels rather out of place here.

@AMetroid it's not that he hasn't noticed their feelings, he's overlooking them because they are just children. Old men who aren't pedo, don't feel any need to react when children feel attracted to them, they just continue to live their life, expecting the child to grow out of it.

@CountryMage It’s been repeatedly shown that he is oblivious to their feelings. Every time they’ve tried to flirt with him, he ends up thinking “they should be more mindful of how they act, otherwise men will get the wrong idea.” He doesn’t realize that it’s the “right idea” and he’s the target.

He knows they're trying to record him attacking them with magic... so he attacks them with magic?

@feha @Slavin
I'm pretty sure that SFX (bachi-bachi) on page 18 shows that devices is damaged, whether from water or from impact.

@Kaarme
He's the kind of a protagonist that wants to be discreet about being OP, but makes no effort to actually do it. Gotta be some kinda Japanese trope or something.

Shouldn't he have grabbed the camera? I can see several uses for it, including the exact thing they just tried.
