Translation is very rough. According to summary he's been there 3000 years but box is saying 30. Also, some of punctuation is wrong.

@Blackbird With a high enough cultivation ageing can be extremely slowed or halted. Supposedly at some stage a cultivationist can survive without food, water or air.

@StorminUrAss Probably didn't realize was going back in time and just really wanted to return home. Did seem aware might lose a lot of his cultivation levels though.
