Soo I've read this far and my answer is... The MC is pathetic. All those death were cause by something else but after he heard what they guy said he straight up believes him. And he also had many chances to kill him too but his retarded self never did what he aimed to do.

@9000ofdeath not to mention it's pointless to stop seeing the girl because he's already connected to her. If he believes people he knew in middle school died for him then why wouldn't she die for him regardless of if he sees her again or not.
