cannabis? looks like they were shooting heroin. don't doubt cannabis being there as well since it's a highly illegal substance in Japan (it'd make sense to show the severity of the crimes they were involved in). Wonder if the author got it wrong or the translation did...

Definitely funny, and weird, that out of all the possible 'drugs' that the news outlet chose to report, was especially weed.

they said "large quantities" so maybe a few kilos not just like a lil joint or somethin, plus you can assume they shoot up all the heroin.
