That cut art looked really kool. But the story failed to hype me up tbh, going back and forth to the surgery and the match.
 
Hold up, did I miss something? America isn't part of the OPBF. It could still be his homeland, but (a) what country is he representing *now*, because it sure as fuck can't be America, (b) why would OPBF fights get streamed to America even if they feature Americans? That's not how ESPN or any network works over here.

Seems like the author just decided to throw out an "AMERICA" for no fucking reason.
 
@codetaku Pedro Garcia is based on Pacquiao, the Filipino featherweight/middleweight boxer and the original Japanese for it explicitly said that his home country (unlike the real Pacquiao) and subsequentially where he's known for is America. The Philippine flags behind him say he's representing the country instead of the US in the OPBF match
 
@tasos We are trying to gear towards that but that can only happen once we've got redrawers on board to help out.
 
@tasos I'm a bit taken back that's what we are doing loool but there are various processes involved whilst scanlating.

To be fair that’s just how Most Japanese sports manga works. They view explosive, titanium chinned, and large foreigners as the Goliaths to their David’s
