Not only do authors always finish chapters on cliffhangers which just make me mad and either drop the manga or wait till the chapters stack up, but with these fucking split chapters you dont only get fucking double the cliffhangers, you lose context and fucking page count. It is better than it should be for a while, then degenerates into a super repetitive cycle of Aegir fucking everything that moves on his way to a war, kicking the shit out of everyone during the war, fucking everything that moves (and some inanimate objects) after the war, then fucking everything that moves on his way home from the war, then fucking almost everything that moves back home, usually neglecting at least one of his (according to the novel, not me) wildly gorgeous wives to go fuck random hookers instead, then getting into another war, and the cycle repeats.

Lots of comedy in, what should be, a serious, bloody world. There are a LOT of uncomfortable situations, however. I would say if you are ok with Aegir's absolutely insane level of thinking with his dick in EVERY situation, such as:

*Warning, actual minor spoilers, don't open unless you want nightmares, PTSD, your childhood ruined, and ghost babies floating around your head and all that good stuff.*

-I almost got killed by this mermaid, so I'll jerk off on her eggs and accidentally have 555 half-piranha/half-human kids.
-I need to save this woman, but I got my dick stuck in her on accident while rescuing her.
-We are having a very important strategy meeting, I'm going to stick my fingers inside Celia while everyone else talks.
-There is a big battle coming up, I better fuck my way through every war widow in the town we just captured to get myself psyched up for it.
-Oh look that plant kind of looks like a woman, *unzips*.
-Come here lamia, lemme fuck your snake hole!
-This woman needs to be fucked, but she'll only let me fuck her if I also fuck her brother...yeah I'm going for it, because, pussy.
-Hey Claire, can you say, surprise anal!

You are in for some fun times but be aware it is a VERY long running WN. Each chapter is also very long. Oh, and did I mention that he only thinks with his dick?

In all honesty, I'm interested in following the story for the sheer insanity of Aegir but I've been burned enough times by bad writing, bad translation or both to lose all motivation on reading any web novel. But if it was a doujinshi drawn by atleast a decent maybe even below average artist, I'd read that shit religiously.

As a manga, I have the bare minimum interest in this series. But as a doujinshi? fuck me with a 20 inch dragon dildo, the lads at Nhentai would praise this as the doujin of the century. I hope the author realize that manga is holding this crazy series back and finally embrace the limitless potential of Doujinshi land. Dr Bug's Elrk did it, I'm sure this series can do it too.

@nutman451 LMAO, crazy, I know, but nope, totally this series. And I only scratched the surface of the shenanigans in this. For what it's worth, the WN writing is pretty good and there are far fewer grammatical clusterfucks than your typical WN. But you are correct, if this were doujinified (<--actual scientific term) it would be amazing. NHentai or E-Hentai would probably explode.
