H'yup. I feel like the author placed more effort on designing "cool mechas" and "cute girls", rather than think about concrete characters and plot.
Having a basic MC is easy to lead around, but it really is too much.

Mech design is minimal which I like, but the MC is just unlikeable. The story didn't tell much and didn't have that hook.
