Well this is messed up, because the girl he likes its not the real one, and the real one is in love with the MC because of the mark... pretty interesting if you think about it
Seeing as her motivation is Rokudou, I think the old man was being a bit hasty taking Ling Lan's beads.
Also, wonder what will Himawari think of Rokudou when they'll put beads on her.
Hrm, interesting. It's pretty obvious but seeing it done where when she's no longer "a bad girl" she doesn't really care too much about Rokudou anymore shows just how kinda false any of this love is.
@jimmysuzuki: And here I thought we'd got us a real love detector, but your right. But if there is a girl, e.g. Ranna, who is still in love with him while wearing the beads, we know it is true.
I see a vision of the near future: Good guy will take off his beads as he wants a change of heart, because he won't be able to stomach to be separated from his crush and then he won't be able to stomach the thought, that his woman gets f**ked by that wimp. Gonna rip him to shreds! He'll take the other gremlins too and the gang comes riding into the town on the back of that teacher. (This I see the clearest. It's a two page panel. Perspective from the asphalt, slightly tilted up right onto the face of that monk, who has a gag in his mouth. Everyone is in the scene. The shot is diagonal from the front-left side. Typical villain gang comes into town perspective.) It will be a heart breaking battle between king-fu kohais and sempais. The drama! *sheads tears* I'm sorry. I'm alright again.
"I don't feel that way about you anymore! For some reason."
How can she say she doesn't use kung-fu as a weapon when she's willing to gut-punch a guy like that?
