I'm starting to believe the vision Chiyo had is because Ranna is going to be looking for Chiyo the entire time due to being lied to and will show up either near or at the end of the fight. Tired and beaten-up ex-Sakura lieutenants vs Ranna at 100% and probably pissed.

@Dijon Nakamura Yuji quickly made me a believer very early on. He's very good at subversion and just a really good writer all around imo. Still holding out for the day this series gets enough attention for an anime. I need iiiiit

Like other people have said, this arc uses a slightly different storytelling style. Somewhat like early 2000's One Piece where everyone's getting their footing (and losing it due to conflicting interests between enemies(?) ) in a no-man's land at different paces and it all happens in different locations, with a similar goal tying them all together, in this case being Chiyo's freedom (or lack thereof) ultimately leading to a final brawl involving all characters. Although it's a much much lighter version of that, in my opinion. Outside of that I think the story is pretty much the same for this arc, since for the record we've followed the generic Tower of Death style from the getgo.

He's doing really well, this author. Always does. I wonder who his mentor is?

ALSO LOL again with people talking about the story ending. How many times are you guys gonna get tricked? You always think this story is gonna end, people thought that 100 chapters ago. lmaooooo
