He only knows she's somewhere around there.
Sure, he could jump through the roofs , look around and if not found, jump into another place, but the noise of him breaking the roof (if he can do it) will probably scare her away.
Sure, he could run really fast through the halls, but the noise could probably be heard far away and scare her away, not to mention he might not have good enough perception to spot her at that speed.

He could probably walk a bit faster though.
But if she actually boards a plane, he can probably cut the wheels or wings so it can't take off.
