I've been thinking this for a couple of chapters now, but given how stupid MC is I didn't expect him to suspect Hasebe. I mean, everyone in the class thinks that Sumeragi is the one responsible for the rules, so wouldn't it be more logical to think that Hasebe is mistaken rather than he is lying?
