@InsaneInsomniac Insane labor isn't new. Plus, mages in a world without wars are pretty useless. Other than in the Hero Party, their only job opportunity seems to be outlaw.

Plus, this seems to be the kind of world where mages are pretty common instead of say Lord of the Ring where a mage is literally legend.
