could be i gusse.
the only time i seen something like that was in "Nozomanu Fushi no Boukensha" where pet monsters cant evolve while wild once can.
so yeah, its also a valid option.
So she knows he isn't a elemental cat? The excuse is that they're rare and people don't quite know what they're like, but if she grew up next to one then that doesn't fly
I see a lot of people misinterpreting the cat and ranger lady, the lady was her neighbor's sister so no direct familial kink link. https://mangadex.org/chapter/763783/20
@HYBRID_BEING - the rest of the party are epic heroes. They sure thought the hard part was finding a dragon quickly enough.
More realistically, they thought the cat called on somebody for help.
Thanks for the chapter!
You know, Leo has similar markings as Tama. I wonder if he was a behemoth (albeit older) too? Although would be a real stretch if Leo had the soul of a reincarnator who retained their memories as a bipedal sentient too.
@Mxc Yeah and Aria is calling Tama a spirit cat. Granted Leo might be an elemental cat with ability to grow but that was the kidnapper guessing and she seemed surprised he could grow. I'm just saying that considering Leo's abilities, coloring and pattern are similar to Tama's that he might really be a behemoth too. His partner might be like Aria in misguessing his species or is deliberately hiding his identity to avoid fear, panic, and some idiot putting a subjugation order on him solely based on his species. Would explain his intelligence and abilities. After all, elemental species tend to focus on one element for all their magic, skills, and abilities like a phoenix only using fire and not earth or water. Also, getting bigger isn't really an element based ability.
