Tama's smug face at the adventurer not lewding his master is great. Well I guess after she got sick we haven’t had any drama so the author felt like introducing new characters just to have them need to be saved. Not sure how the noble thinks pissing off talented enough people to kill an S rank monster is smart but it’s standard corrupt noble doing bad things trope.
@monoreposo Or maybe a massacre because it turned out when those two mentioned they can defend themselves they weren't kidding. Honestly though part of me expects the hired hand that tries the kidnap attempt to be the adventurer group we just meet this chapter.
@theShear doubt. That would be too boring of a development. Even if it goes against all logic, they will be kidnapped or held hostage one way or another, the cat will save them, and no one will suspect a monster is in their presence.
Naturally, due to anime/manga logic, the kidnapper will be forgiven with nothing more than a light scolding, few bruises, and a short prison sentence for kidnapping/attempted murder/attempted rape/whatever.
Well, time for some obvious developments. Dryad and fairy get kidnapped while they are fighting boss. Mc goes and kicks kidnapper's ass. Probably some kind of horror like chapter of corpses or abominations follows.
