Is this an april fools chapter, or did MD glitch and show me scenes from 3 random future chapters? I mean, the storyline didn't flow at all....
First we have the girls who were kidnapped. we were looking for them.... and then get interrupted by random ugly scum.
Random ugly scum supposedly has connections to the girls.... but nope, forget that. Apparently the city is being attacked by undead so lets just forget he exists.
Now, the city under attack... doesn't actually seem to have anything to do with the original objective. This entire chapter is just 3 off the wall diversions away from their original task and nothing was accomplished nor learned....

Sure, the storyline was never 5 star gold, but... it also was never complete trash before.

If the forest is using the undead to kill humans and get their brethren back, then bravo. If not, then this did an excellent job of showing that part of being an adventurer is reacting and doing things when you have no idea what the **** is going on or who is behind anything.
