While Gatcha games are pretty parasitic, none of them actually straight up costs 500yen per roll. usually you'd get a good amount of rolls for that amount of money. The price is just an exaggeration of mobage's as a whole, as you'll occasionally hear on the news about some kid spending several thousand $s on digital garbage. lol
