Aleph literally tortured slave girls, abandoned them in the desert, and let his 'wife' get beheaded? Why the hell does he get a happy ending? I loved the main couple, but the ending is too tame and none of the actions seem all that long lasting.

Solid 5/10, would be lower if it weren't for Mishe and Kallum being so likable.

it's bittersweet ending for me...
I'm happy that it is a happy ending but the fact that it ended makes me sad, nevertheless the story finally "finished"..it may have taken a longer time but still it was translated down to its last chapter so thank you to everyone who made it possible..

I can't imagine Aleph loving anyone anymore after what happened to his last love and what he could do to other living breathing people, but then he went after his cousin? Why make her a cousin instead of like a further away relation so genetics and social no-no's doesn't mess them up? Maybe cousin isn't meant to be taken at face value. Like she's a cousin but like a 5th cousin. I'm afraid for their future kids if not...
