It has good commentary on domestic abuse situations. They're hard to talk about because you're a victim but in certain situations there's a point where you're choosing to stay. Codependency is definitely running rampant here.

The sex scene between Yumi and Kan-chan where traumatizing. It definitely chilled me to the bone to see Yumi's bloody nose while they had sex. Please get help if this type of stuff is happening in your relationship.

I appreciated that the abusive partner asked the other to leave. Some situations get so bad that the controlling partner may go so far as to kill their partner. While he could still self-reflect Kan-chan broke things off. Yumi took that escape as a chance to walk away.

If you catch yourself being a shit human being walk away from the situation and fix that broken part of yourself.

The author has great sex scenes in the last chapter or two. It was very expressive and somewhat messy. Good sex should end in sweats and laughs with a trusting partner.

I love the final couple. The starting pair was so hard to read through. I know it’s labeled, but it was still hard to read. I got chills during their scenes. If you have past trauma, this may trigger you.

I felt so sad when Yumi said he’s not a woman so Mayama shouldn’t worry about him getting some bruises. And when he was thinking back to his middle school days and how he got scared from then of how big an impact Mayama had on him.
