You can say it's fake but there was still progress in their relation to each other. You can't say the past 27 chapters were for nothing.

Also what's wrong with that last statement of yours? In 'The Garden of Sinners' they pretty much do the same thing.

@Kisshouin well if we read this manga, we already prepared about that ending, right? It's not like we do not clinging to some hope about a HE for She and He. We, the readers are somewhat alike with both this character, right? Clinging to a happy end, but with a bad end as a nightmare keep bothering too
