Seems like just an excuse to draw guro while trying to be tragic at the same time. It's pretty dumb, but I would have liked it if they actually did become one. It didn't really make sense that the other girl died and not Sae. Since Sae had her frickin' organs torn out. The author probably should have done those last few panels differently. It makes it look like none of that stuff had actually happened. I'm not really into guro, but this isn't as disturbing as some other ones I've seen
