@primrosea I'm Asian. Chinese-indonesian to be exact. And in here, the mindset is also similar. But that only applies to excessive contact in a public space (I.e. flirting in public, holding hand in public (seriously)) because it is seen as indecent.

I can understand if the context is lewd, but basic physical contact? (I.e. tapping/holding someone's shoulder) I can't see why that would induce such anxiety to people (mainly MCs in manga since their monologue always seems to be illogical).

@strider_01 I'm Asian too. Living in an Asian world. But really? Tapping their shoulder or knees to call for their attention in CLASS is enough to warrant the stink eye? Because that never ever happen to me when I'm in school. In public? Yes. Quite often actually. Even when all I wanted to do was to tell them that they drop some money on the ground or something.

@Nyaaa My input isn't really needed, but I just wanted to add my personal perspective. I'm Asian American (making the Asian part almost irrelevant-- I'm so whitewashed), and I was pretty self-conscious as a 13/14 year old. I also lacked confidence before I started martial arts. This combo resulted in me being pretty hesitant to have physical contact with the opposite gender, though I did have friends of both when I was ~11-12. I mean, I wasn't having as much trouble as Tokimiya, but it's exaggerated for effect, I think.

@simplicity I don't think I'd ever get tired of them either. At least not for a looong time.

Regarding them, and I should leave a note about this in the credit page next chapter, but the 11 bonus chapters total a little more than 40 pages, so they're actually not too long, sadly. Also, sorry to disappoint, but there aren't really any glimpses of the future in them either. There are some cute moments though!

As for the touching thing discussed earlier in this thread, I suspect he would have had less problems if he hadn't himself started to consider that "hey, since I do want to touch her, wouldn't this be some kind of unasked for public display of affection". Once he got into that frame of thought it stalled him for a while, but as could be seen he did finally work through it, but only in time to get touch-blocked by the wind. (But what the wind taketh away, it can apparently also giveth in the end. XD

i'm a sucker for slow-burn romances like this. i was hoping this would go on for a while and we'd be able to look back at volume 1 with sweet nostalgia but it seems like we haven't moved far from volume 1 after all. oh well it was still a pretty good ride.
