Even if he only has the Crush part, to the people that matter he already showed the Friend portion, and specifically asked first for a person who was Definitely his friend and not his crush.

The story hasn't really gotten into unnecessary drama yet, I hope it doesn't now, and Really think the Crush thing was just for the gag regarding the student council. also the paper is clearly intact at the end so it's probably not going to get ripped. and will likely at most be played to and an embarrassment gag.
