@deCarabasHJ Like @Variousletters said, it's a genericized trademark, at least here in the US. For us, jello usually refers to the gelatin dessert, with jelly and jam referring to different thicknesses (or concentrations or something) of the fruit paste.

@sleepyfoxscanlations Jelly is made from the juice of a fruit only. Jam is made from both the juice and some pulp. Preserves are made from the entire fruit (often minus the skin).
